Upon arrival at the airport and after clearing immigration and customs, meet with your guide with a welcome signboard marked “The Time Journeys’s LOGO & your name”. Then your tour guide will transfer to your hotel in centre. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore city.

Early morning around 05:40am, the guide will pick you up and transfer you to observing an Arm-Giving where hundreds of monks walking along side walk to collect rice and food from laymen and you will visit Fresh Morning Market at Prakham village. Then you will transfer back your hotel for having breakfast. After your breakfast, you will continue on to visit The National Museum. There is plenty to investigate and admire at this large museum in the center of town. Next, you will visit WatVisoun with its impressive stupa and the shrine of WatAham. After your visit to WatXieng Thong you will next climb the 355 steps to the summit of Mount Phousi. There are plenty of rest stops on the way up. At the half-way point you will see the WatThamPhousi shrine and at the summit you will visit the gilded stupa. Your trip affords spectacular views of the city. There is a wonderful opportunity to see the sunset from a superb vantage point. After your descent from the mountain; you will be taken to visit The Street Night Market affording plenty of opportunities for purchasing souvenirs. At the end of day, transfer you back to your hotel. Free time.

After breakfast at your hotel. The guide will pick you up and transfer you to take a boat trip on the Mekong River where you will admire the surrounding countryside is both tranquil and picturesque. You will take you to visit the village of Ban Xanghai. This village is famous for its distilled local rice wine. You will arrive at the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. These are packed full of golden lacquered statues of the Buddha. On the return journey you will take a short drive to Ban ZangKhong where you will experience the local people hand weave exquisite silk materials. After that, transfer you back to your hotel. Free in the evening.

After having breakfast, we drive to Living Land Lao Organic farm at Pung Van village. Upon arrival, your guide and the representative of the farm briefs about the historical and activity of the farm. You will attending a half day of rice experience including growing ride until stream ride. You also have time to visit the Organic products after rice experience. Afternoon, transfer you out of town 30KM to the beautiful KuangSii Fall, where you can swim, relax, soft trek to the top of the fall. On return short stop at Black Hmong Village, where hill tribe hand-made handicraft as souvenirs for visitors pass by. At the end of day, transfer you back to your hotel. Free time.

Today you will have 1 day for visiting the elephant camp. The guide will pick you up at your hotel after your breakfast and transfer you to Elephant Camp. On the way to the camp, stop over for visiting Ban Phom Nom village where virtually all the villagers are weavers. Some were servants to the last king and learnt their craft making cloth and garments for the royal family. After that we visit the monument to Henri Mouhot at Kang Noon. Henri Mouhot was responsible for alerting the West to the plight of Angkor Wat. Shortly after he moved to Laos but succumbed to malaria in 1861. No Laos vacation would be complete without seeing these gentle giants and what better way than in truly authentic surroundings. Many of the elephants have been rescued and their history will be explained by the staff at the camp. You can take a 50 minute elephant ride and help to wash these lovable animals in the nearby Karn River. Then transfer you back to your hotel. Free time.
