Summary: Cúc Phương is located in Ninh Binh Province, is 120km south – west of Hanoi. Cuc Phuong Naitonal Park is Vietnam’s largest and first national park. It is homes to hundreds of species of flora and fauna. Including some of the nation’s most endangered turtles. The park consists of verdant karst mountains and lush valleys. The park has 307 species of bird, 133 species of mammal, 122 species of reptile, more than 2000 species of plant and thousands of species of insects. This national park is one Vietnam’s most important protected areas

SUGGESTED ITINERARY:

08:00 am: The local guide pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to Ninh Binh (95km) to visit Cuc Phuong National Park. You will visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre where you will learn about the important work being done to help protect the endangered species of the park. After lunch, trek to the Park Centre, on the way visit the Cave of Early Man ( had over 7000 year), then you’ll start on a long trek through the forest to learn about the diverse flora and fauna of the park. You’ll also make stops at Cho Chi, the oldest tree in the forest, a number of picturesque streams and waterfalls. Then trek back to the car. And transfer you back to Hanoi.
